Apple Pie Cafe & Bakery

Apple Pie is a landmark café in Ambleside. I wanted to imagine how their brand could feel if it matched the warmth and pride people already associate with them.

 

The logo combines an apple and slice of pie in a way that feels playful but considered. Colours are drawn from the local area — soft pastel blues and greens, with hints of warm orange and purple. Our goal was to make the brand feel unmistakably part of the Lake District.

Applied across packaging and shopfronts, the identity shows how the café could feel modern without losing its heritage. It’s about making a much-loved local name look as good as it tastes.
