the opportunity
The café already holds a strong place in people’s memories. The opportunity was to translate that warmth into a visual identity that could work across the shopfront, counter experience, packaging and merchandise.
the response
The logo combines an apple and a slice of pie in one simple mark. Soft blues and greens reference the surrounding area, supported by warmer orange and purple accents. The system feels playful without losing the confidence of an established local business.
the application
The identity was applied across signage, window graphics, cups, coffee packaging, bags and aprons. The applications show how the café could feel modern while retaining the character and heritage people value.
